APPLICATION
If you have read all guidelines and are prepared to create your Submittable account, apply below.
- Grants from the Phillip and Edith Leonian Foundation are awarded to organizations with 501(c)3 status or to individuals with fiscal sponsors.
- The Foundation funds programs or projects related to the following:
- Photography Education
- Archiving or Cataloging of a Photographic Archive
- Professional Development Projects Including Internships, Seminars, Workshops
- Photography Exhibitions
- Creation of Photography-Related Publications
- Applicants are encouraged to submit letters of inquiry to Judith Lane at Judith.lane@leonianfoundation.org
- Next deadline is February 15, 2021
- The Foundation uses Submittable as the submission platform. You must create a login account to apply for funding.
- All applicants will need to include in their online submission:
- Brief summary of the project/program
- Detailed description of the project/program
- Project budget with Leonian funds clearly defined
- List of other committed and potential funders
- Organization's mission statement
- Organization's information / history
- Organization’s annual budget
- Organization’s board of trustees
- Proof of 501(c)3 status
- Resume(s) of Project Director(s)
- Supplemental materials (books, other publications, or any non-digital materials) may also be sent to:
